CBM Ministries of SWPA is a non-profit, non-denominational, faith based ministry dedicated to evangelizing school students and adults through the Released Time Bible program, camps and retreats, and Character based correspondence lessons. It is our desire to teach the Bible, God's Word, helping students to grow in spiritual maturity. We also desire to help Christians develop their spiritual gifts and give them opportunities to serve in the local church and out into the world.

CBM is a National organization with 12 divisions in 10 states. Our national office is located in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee.
HISTORY OF CBM CBM Ministries began in the southern USA in 1935, but it had it's local beginnings in 1970 when Reba Miller established Released Time classes in Greene County, PA schools. Released Time is now offered in each elementary and secondary school in that county. In the 1990's CBM expanded to nearby Fayette county and in 2005 opened RT in Butler county. In 2005 CBM was ministering to over 850 students in 26 schools.
Camp was first offered in 1971 and has been held each summer since for elementary and teen students. We have rented camps each year, but we are currently seeking to build a camp of our own to be used for year round ministry to all age groups.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT We desire to evangelize school students and adults through the Released Time Bible Program, Camp, and the Mailbox Club; Teaching and guiding them to maturity in our Lord Jesus Christ, providing training and opportunities for Christian Service in the local church and to the world.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENTWhile CBM is a non-denominational work, we do adhere to the following fundamentals of the faith. WE BELIEVE IN... 1. The verbal inspiration and inerrancy of Holy Scripture. 2. The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and virgin born. 3. The substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross as the only payment for man's sin. 4. Salvation by Grace alone; through faith alone, in Christ alone. 5. The bodily resurrection, ascension and imminent return of Christ.
